They Know It’s Over
We now stand on the precipice of the Great Fall. I believe the United States of America has lit the fuse on the destructive course set so carefully by those claiming to stand for all its false principles. As we watch, let’s understand that this was inevitable. I believe the foundation America was built upon is still as racist and white nationalist as a foundation can be, only now it has morphed into a religiously infused, Europeanized worship of whiteness.
I believe this will also be the foundation of America’s end. As it devolves back into its natural state, the self-consumption will come from the intolerance and violence expressed in its warring with itself. The pendulum of history swings back and forth, revisiting those doomed to repeat it. America has set its own future demise in stone by embracing the most destructive and false notions of exceptionalism and entitlement it can cultivate. The sentiment “America First” has become its own death knell, ringing loudly around the globe, carried by Donald Trump, to the insult of the entire world. Trump declared “America first will be the overriding theme of my administration” in his April 2016 foreign-policy speech [7], and the phrase has an older history: the 1940–41 America First Committee opposed aid to the Allies [7], and its best-known voice, Charles Lindbergh, gave a 1941 speech that repeated antisemitic lies [7].
Donald J. Trump. I picture him as the Anchor of Anger, Angst, and Attitude on the Bad Ship America. He fell into the somewhat still waters of this society’s deepest racist sentiment, and he eventually started stirring and creating a mental whirlpool that has spun itself into a circle of grievance. It appears to be pulling his cult-like following, who are onboard, into the depths of that familiar depravity they seem so at home expressing.
The ship is sinking. America in decline looks to be losing its mind. When I say “America,” I mean it in that “Mitch McConnell” kind of way. Look at who does these things. Some of those who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, left feces in hallways and smeared it on the walls, according to members of Congress and the staff who cleaned it up [1]. A gunman drove more than 200 miles to a Buffalo supermarket on a Saturday, May 14, 2022, and killed 10 Black people while they shopped. He was convicted of murder and hate-motivated domestic terrorism and sentenced to life without parole, and the federal case is still pending [2]. After the 2022 search of Mar-a-Lago, there were online threats against the FBI, one man was convicted for threatening agents, and an armed man attacked the FBI’s Cincinnati office and was killed by police [3]. All of this was done under the banner of making it LOOK as though Trump is being held accountable. None of that is someone else.
But why? Why do they do these horrible things? Fear. The one word that permeates the minds of those so deep in their own feelings about themselves, with themselves, and for themselves, that getting over themselves would be like surviving after inventing a car that runs on water. This society suffers from the fear created by fear, compounded with fear, times fear squared! The FBI has itself named racially motivated violent extremism, including white supremacist violence, a top-level priority on the same footing as ISIS, and in its own reports called white-superiority extremists the most lethal domestic violent extremist threat [5]. They would be the Terror-ists, as stated by the same FBI that some of them now suddenly want defunded [4].
A train wreck is the only future I can see coming for the United Snakes of Americans. Think of an immovable object meeting an unstoppable force and you have a guaranteed conflict brewing, in the form of Civil War 2.0. In this case the immovable object and the unstoppable force are one and the same: grievance and denial, coupled with privilege and victimhood. Polls show real unease. In 2023, 23 percent of Americans agreed that “true American patriots may have to resort to violence” [8], and in 2025 an NPR/Marist poll found 30 percent said violence may be necessary, though Reuters/Ipsos found 92 percent reject political violence [8]. That tells me the fuse is lit but not yet burned down.
This newly rekindled racist society has an unwillingness to punish itself. (Dear GOD, they will NOT hold themselves to account, will they?) Herein lies the real issue. Not holding your own accountable comes with a nasty side effect: the behavior spreads, and it gets nastier, because they teach it and practice it quite well.
I look at Trump as the perfect representation of America’s current situation and status in the world. His demeanor and crass style appeal to like-minded individuals who, like him, have so much fear and grievance that they allow it to control their thinking and create havoc in our communities.
There is a remedy forthcoming, and most will not like it. It’s time to look to Prophecy and compare it to the history so well laid out in near-perfect parallel to what’s been foretold. I believe the Great Harlot of Revelation 17 and 18 is America, adorned with the riches she has gained from her torrid affairs with the beasts she has ridden for so long, which will soon turn on her and rip her to shreds.
The die is cast. There is no reprieve. Her sins have amassed clear to the Heavens, and there will be a reckoning. Sensing her end near, like a wild creature clinging to its last moments, her violent spasms will become more and more destructive, lashing out at anyone seen as an enemy of the people. All for nothing. The Most High has Spoken the End of America into Prophetic Reality. Its End Will Come to Pass.
Selah!
